CNC machine operator

Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled CNC machine operator to join their team. As a CNC machine operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and cutting. You will work with precision and efficiency to produce high-quality parts and components.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines according to job specifications and machine documentation

• Load and unload raw materials and tools into the machine

• Input program codes and adjust machine settings to ensure precise and accurate cutting or shaping of materials

• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal

performance and quality

• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the production process

• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of CNC machines and work area

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a CNC machine operator

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings

• Strong knowledge of machine setup and operation procedures

• Familiarity with a variety of CNC machines and their controls

• Ability to use precision measuring instruments

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
